Description

This session will explore the challenges of connecting sustainability with engineering education, research and practice. Sustainability in the session is understood as all 17 SDG, however, in the context of the organization of COP25 in Chile at the end of 2019, the session will focus on the challenges posed by climate change mitigation and adaptation and the solutions brought by engineering. For this, we will have the honour to welcome as a keynote speaker Environmental Minister Carolina Schmidt president of COP25 and COP Champion Gonzalo Muñoz who will provide insights on the progress made and challenges at COP25 at both the state and non-state levels.
