In this session we wil discuss the relationship between universities and industry , thinking about the challenges of industry and how engineering schools can respond and prepare to help us have a better and sustainable place that allows a better quality of life for new generations.

The session will begin with the chilean Secretary of the Treasury, Felipe Larraín, onn the Challenges for Climate Change, followed by the presentation of the keynote speaker Arvind Gupta , who will speak about the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the development of the industry in the future. After the keynote speaker, there will be a panel discussion led by Alvaro Fischer about the contribution that can be made from engineering to the challenges of the industry of the future and how engineering schools must adapt to this new reality.
