Felipe Larraín

Treasury Minister, Chilean Government

Mr. Larraín holds a degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a Master’s Degree and Ph.D in Economics from Harvard University. Since 1996, he has been a Professor of Economics at Pontificia Universidad Católica.

Between 2010 and March 2014, he served as Treasury Minister during the first administration of President Sebastián Piñera. On 2010, he also became a member of the UN Council of Leaders for Sustainable Development.

He has vast experience as an international consultant, scholar, and is the editor and author of more than 10 books published in Latin America, United States, Europe and Asia.
